Below are some of the questions often asked leading up to your stay at Dunluce
Yes we have secured storage for your luggage
Yes we have plenty of safe parking. We have free car parking at all times.
Yes we have a laundry service with a 12hr turn around, the cost is $15.00 per load for both a wash and dry.
An Iron and ironing board is provided in the room.
For those returning off the Great Walks we have a clothes line or drying racks available.
All the rooms have a similar view over looking the local farm. You can see lake Te Anau and the mountains of Fiordland national park. Our views are fantastic. The Kepler room does have a additional window looking towards Mt Luxmore.
It is a 2 hour drive to Milford Sound. Take your time and allow more if you wish to stop and do small walks etc along the Milford Road.
Dunluce is a 2-3min drive into the town Centre. Parking is free and easy to find. We are a 15-20 minute walk into town. Alternatively you can take the scenic option and walk via the Lake on the trail, this is flat and has great views especially at sunset.
We only serve Breakfast and the occasional treat for you to enjoy with your tea or coffee.
We serve continental and a cooked breakfast option such as eggs on sourdough.
We use produce from our garden and source locally where possible.
We can cater to most dietary requirements such as gluten free or Vegan - please let us know in advance.
We only accept children over the age of 12 with the exception of exclusive use, meaning you would have use all four rooms. Any other exceptions would be in agreement with the owner and their approval at the time of booking.
We have one twin room, otherwise all beds are King or Super king.
